Here are a just a handful of some of my favorite film/video pieces from over the years. So much more where this came from!
ONE.org: Pandemica
I produced seven animated pieces to help in ONE’s effort to make sure that everyone had access to the vaccine. We had some pretty big heavy-hitters help voice the perfectly weird characters (courtesy of illustrator Andrew Rae’s perfectly weird mind). The trailer is above and you can see them all here.
Valley Lodge: All My Loving
I co-created this music video for the band Valley Lodge, and produced it via my production company, Yard Sale. We got hundreds of thousands of views and tons of press - for a band pretty much no one had heard of. Plus I was able to do the casting...and that was awesome. Unfortunately, you can’t find this type of furniture at Ikea. I know, I’ve looked.
Women Moving Millions: Give Bold, Get Equal
It’s hard to fight for equal rights without equal support. Here’s a crazy stat: only 1.6% of philanthropic funding goes toward organizations focused on women and girls. Women Moving Millions is committed to help fix that, encouraging funders to “give bold, get equal.” I was thrilled to produce the work which launched their 2020 Summit.
Robin Hood Foundation: American Dream Fund
Robin Hood is an amazing organization whose mission is to fight poverty in New York City. They apply hedge fund metrics to maximize the impact each dollar makes, have no endowment, and are basically all-around good souls. It means a lot to me to work with them; here is one of the short films I produced for their mega fund-raising efforts.
IPG Lab: Ultimate Test Drive
While we were at SXSWi, a couple of colleagues and I were interested in chatting with some of the smaller start-ups who don't come to the festival. We decided to go on a little road trip after SXSWi to see who we found and to test out some technologies along the way. So we crammed 5 people in an SUV and drove from Austin to Nashville, interviewing, filming and ultimately editing 17 videos of our experiences on the road. We pushed them out on an interactive website of the trip, which was in fact, the Ultimate Test Drive.
Dell: Colors
This anthem spot, which introduced a new line of colorful computers and was the centerpiece to Dell’s relaunch, is still a favorite. Plus it has the Wayne Coyne stamp-of-approval.
HP: In the Air
One of the most fanciful projects I’ve ever worked on. Also features my most favorite celebrity I’ve ever worked with: Taj the Elephant of “Operation Dumbo Drop” fame.
Schwinn: Magic Bell
Bikes = happiness. #fact
10 Cane Rum: Shorts
This is one of many shorts that made up the Super Premium Films series. Shown as part of the 10 Cane cross-country tour introducing the rum, they were also featured on IFC-TV as shorts and included on DVDs given to Interview Magazine subscribers.
